What is ‘Scalp Micropigmentation’?

The process of colouring the scalp with a special tattoo tecnique is called Scalp Micropigmentation.

How is scalp micropigmentation applied?

Instead of talking about how it is done, I will rather talk about what I exactly do.

The machiene I use for this process is a special tattooing device. It is motorized.

This machine is leaving paint, or pigments into the skin through a needle moving back and forward whithin a speed of 70 or 35 times per second. As it is the case with modern tattooing, this needle (nozzle) leaves its pigments as soon as it touches the skin.

The thickness of the needle depends on the application in each case. Here we come to the point where the experience of a proffesional tattooing artist, in this case me ( @fatihserdaroglu ) takes an important role.

Which type of hair is it, which kind of pigments or which needles have to be used?

I have to make all these decisions for each case. There’s no need to be parrot fashioned, I have to prethink and decide about which way to apply.

In general I devide Scalp Micropigmentation into two main parts.

a-) Application with hair

This is the case for peple with sparse hair, people with former hair implants but not having reached a satisfying intense, people with all kinds of alopecia, or havin local hair loss.

b-) Apllication with no hair

This is the case for people with genreal no hair, total hair loss, high degree alpoecia cases or similar hair loss diseases.

No hair application features for hair simulation

If the person has totally no hair at all, the effect at the end will be ‘the pigmentation of hair shaved down to induction cut.’ Whithin this application we need to decide over:

• Degree of tone?
• Where to set the temporal line?
• Where to start the forehead line?

Slight hair application features for hair simulation

• How dense is the hair pattern of the twail?
• What’s the present hair colour?
• What’s the thickness of each hair?

After having taken these facts under concern, I talk to the person.

• What length is the person planning to carry the hair?
• What will be the hair colour, or density?
• Will the pesron’s whish of Scalp micropigmentation look neutral at all?

All these facts have to be taken under consideration before starting the procedure.

Hair pigmentation natural faculcy – requires detailed crafting!

After clarified the pre consulting issues named before I start with the procedure of scalp micropigmentation.

The secret of my succes actually lies in this;
I ‘m an experienced tattoo artist for 22 years. I started with scalp micropigmentation whithin the 14th year of my tattooing experience.

These experiences as a tattooing artist made me ‘the best’ in scalp micropigmentation.

I claim to be the best pigmenter not only whithin Turkey but worldwide. I haven’t learned this procedure from anybody. As I’m the first to introduce Scalp Micropigmentation in Turkey in 2011, it is not likely anyway that anyone could have tought it to me. Using my own talents and experiences I apllied this procedure fort he first time in Europe, too.

I was the first one doin hair pigmentations in Norvay, Sweeden, Germany, Belgium and France. I2m aplying this procedure in an increasing proffesionality.

I corrected my inexperienced work times and used them to perfectionize my artwork. Not to be a rote learner, to be logic in the essence of the procedure made me reach perfectionizm in no time.
